Tattoo After Care

Your friend did NOT tattoo you, we did.

So don’t take any advice from anyone but your artist!

1. Leave your bandage on for a minimum of 1 hour.

Plastic Wrap Bandages: It is recommended to be removed within 2 hours

Second Skin Bandages: Can be left on for up to 24 hours. Remove under warm water. Pull the bandage parallel to your body not away from it.

After you remove the bandage, do not re-bandage it.
2. After removal of bandage wash thoroughly with hot water.

We recommend Dial Gold Antibacterial Liquid or Bar soap, or a mild unscented soap.
3. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

Do not use a bath towel as the lint from the towel may stick and dry on your tattoo.
4. Apply a THIN layer of white un-scented lotion

Such as Cetaphil, Aveeno, or Lubriderm.
5. KEEP YOUR TATTOO CLEAN WITH SOAP AND WATER TWICE A DAY

Be sure to only touch your tattoo with clean hands to prevent infection!
6. Repeat this process for a week or two, and no sex for one year!

Gotcha! Just kidding haha.

Peeling and scabbing is normal during this healing time. Do not scratch, peel, or pick at your tattoo during the healing process. Lightly tapping it is fine when you need to get that itch.
